Harvest Home (grace note variation)

Since posting this piece last Fall, I’ve added a version with grace notes where I like to play them. This adds some challenge, especially for students who have not played both types of grace note before. Note, that I am using the “turn” symbol (the sideways S) to mean: play the printed note, then one note above and back to the original.

When playing grace notes, I usually play the beginning of the note a little stronger than normal so it has a bit of a pop. In order to do this, prepare the weight on the string before the start of the note!
