"Burning new talent" -- Darol Anger

Zack Kline is a fiddler at ease in many styles, from Appalachian tunes to Bach and works these varied influences into an original sound. Zack completed his violin studies at Macalester College and performs with groups including Piper's Crow and the Orange Mighty Trio. As a young fiddler in Colorado, Zack studied American roots music firsthand, playing with contemporary bluegrass groups including the Yonder Mountain String Band. He also gained much from his extensive street performing. Mark O'Connor, Darol Anger and Edgar Meyer are some of his primary influences. Zack's composition "Fiddler's World" has been featured on NPR's "Open Mic" podcast and the "Bowed Radio" podcast.
